
Marlin Lodge is situated on the south western shore of Benguerua Island, 14km from the Mozambican mainland town of Vilanculos. The lodge is constructed of Mozambican hardwood, reed-clad walls and thatched 'jecca' roofs, in harmony with the pristine natural surroundings. Furnishings are in colours that reflect the lush green island foliage and the bright blues of the ocean.
The 17 luxury sea-facing suites all have direct access to the beach, they comprise cool slate flooring, soft lighting, air-conditioning and ceiling fans and the comfy lounge areas have mini bars. The lavish four-poster beds are draped with mosquito netting and the en-suite bathrooms are open plan with double vanities and indoor and outdoor showers.
