Kurland is situated on an impressive 700 hectare Polo Estate, near Plettenberg Bay and Nature's Valley, in the heart of the Garden Route. This luxurious homestead comprises a few stylish Dutch Gabled buildings, set around a central pool area, with manicured rose gardens, private terraces and courtyards complete with fountains and ornate candelabras. The main guest areas comprise three different sitting rooms and an intimate library, all styled with authentic pieces from Paris and Milan, creating a rich and classic ambiance. Original art adorns the walls as you meet for canapés before dinner in front of the log fire, or enjoy an apéritif on the wide verandahs at sunset. Dining at Kurland is a silver service experience, indoors or al fresco with a Mediterranean touch.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

The 12 spacious suites are scattered around the rolling property in various styles and settings; The inter-leading Elegant suites are just a few steps from the main homestead, overlooking the pool. The Luxury Suites are either in the rose garden, or near the paddocks. The Superior Suites are near the other paddocks, which enjoy a more private setting further from the main homestead. The Family Suites offer loft rooms, with space for up to four extra beds, a play area and toys. The Honeymoon suites are in the rose garden, tucked away from the main hotel, with a spacious terrace and a private swimming pool. All these suites are large and well appointed with high quality fabrics, oversized furnishings, regal colours and stylish designs. They all have underfloor heating, satellite televisions, personal safes, mini bars and coffee and tea stations. The en-suite bathrooms are roomy and stylish with heated towel rails, free standing bath tubs and walk-in showers. The various settings of these suites all offer some kind of outdoor area, with tranquil views of this magnificent estate.
