Rosenhof Country House is situated on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, en route to the Cango Caves and Ostrich Farms. This carefully renovated 1852 Victorian homestead, exudes authenticity with its yellowwood beams and ceilings and tasteful collection of antique furniture. The sunny breakfast room overlooks the manicured gardens and there are several luxury lounges with fireplaces where guests can relax and admire works from well-known South African artists. In-between exploring the captivating Karoo, guests at Rosenhof Country House share tales of their travels in the cosy pub, or relax by the large and inviting swimming pool, take tea in the manicured rose gardens or rejuvenate at the Wellness Centre with its fully equipped gym, jacuzzi, sauna and beauty clinic.

The pretty rose garden, which gave Rosenhof its name, leads to 12 separate bedrooms and 2 Executive Suites, all individually furnished in Cape Victorian style. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, satellite television, telephone and mini-bar. The Executive Suites are privately located 100m from the main house and they each have their own secluded pool, lounge and patio with tranquil views of the Swartberg Mountain.
