La Maison Minervetta is built on a slope overlooking the charming Marina Grande in Sorrento, where the pace of life has been touched only partially  by tourism.

The Maison’s style is modern design which not only works but positively delights at every turn, with warm touches of ethnic objects and vintage pieces.

These objects not only add to the splendour of the hotel, but many also represent important pieces from famous designers.

All the 12 Mediterranean style rooms, facing the Neapolitan Gulf with huge picture windows, let you bask in the view while lying in bed in the morning.

In every room you will enjoy a special atmosphere, thanks to the peculiar furniture, lamps, and various objects.

With a large lounge area, a dining room and a kitchen opening onto an exclusive terrace with spectacular views, "La Minervetta" offers all the comforts of being in a private home.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

All rooms are equipped with soundproof walls and doors, air conditioning, heating, wi-fi and cable Internet access, satellite TV and Sky TV, direct dial telephone, mini bar, and a laptop-size safe.

Each room has its own collection of travel or interior design magazines and number, smart lighting and collections of ceramics and pottery collected by the owners throughout their years of traveling.

  • Superior rooms get the best views, their corner window-walls filled with blue seas and skies.
  • Deluxe rooms in the middle, have one or two windows over the plunging drop to Sorrento's marina grande.
  • Junior Suite has 2 balconies made of glass overlooking the sea, hand made bright yellow ceramic flooring, and turquoise coloured walls.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLETS:

Maison La Minervetta doesn't have a restaurant but it serves a rich cold and hot breakfast buffet.

The restaurants and bars of Marina Grande can all be reached by the hotel’s private stairway.

The village is famous for its wonderful fish restaurants serving the best of the day's catch

Our favourite restaurant in Marina Grande is Emilia serving fish dishes on the beautiful terrace overlooking the beach with its typical boats and fishermen's nets.

You will find an excellent cuisine also at  Zi'ntonio a Mare and the Taverna Azzurra.
