Malta

Malta and Gozo are located at the centre of the Mediterranean. A mixture of cultures from north, south, east and west, the islands have a quiet charm all of its own. Malta is the former home of the Knights of St. John and visitors to Malta's compact and easily accesible capital, Valletta, will discover an abundance of 16th century cathedrals, palazzos, and fortifications. The Grand Harbour is particularly impressive. The island also boasts quaint towns, historic churches and ancient sites, none of which are ever that far away. Malta's peaceful sister island, Gozo, consists of flat-topped hills, picturesque valleys and villas that nestle amongst peach, lemon, olive and orange groves.
