Falconara Charming Resort is in a dominating position over the sea from the heights of its promontory, the hotel's backdrop is a medieval castle and a private beach with pristine coves.

Opened in 2007, The Falconara is built on land once lived and worked on by the peasants who worked inside the Castle. The attention to detail and the choice of materials used in the construction contribute in creating an ambience where art and nature truly live together.

Simplicity and bold strokes abound, all within a terracotta and sandstone palette – stone and wood are the dominant materials from the lobby to private rooms, allowing the Sicilian atmosphere to take hold.

This is a spot for beach lovers but still within easy reach from some of Sicily’s cultural treasures.

The 65 bedrooms are equipped with telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, mini-bar, safe, hair dryer, bathroom with bathtub/shower.

36 Classic double rooms situated on the ground floor with a patio facing the gardens, or on the first floor with sea view and balcony;
3 Junior suites consisting of a double bedroom with a living corner with a 3rd bed available situated on the ground floor with a patio facing the gardens, or on the first floor with sea view and balcony;

La Fattoria

14 Superior rooms all situated on the ground floor (patio). Some of the Rooms (Garden view only) have two French-beds and an additional 3rd bed is available on request. Other rooms have a double bed (max. 2 persons) and front sea view only.
8 Junior suites consisting of a double bedroom with a living corner with a 3rd bed available, situated on the ground floor with a patio (garden or front sea view) or on the first floor with a balcony, front sea view;
4 Deluxe suites, spacious (sometimes on two levels), all with additional 3rd/4th bed available and each with its own character (Barone Chiaramonte Bordonaro, Principe Branciforte, Montereale, Pietrapagliata), bathroom with separated bathtub and shower, situated on the ground floor with a patio (front sea view) or on the first floor with a balcony, garden or front sea view.

GUEST FACILITIES INCLUDE:

Bordering the hotel's beautiful Mediterranean gardens there is a pretty bay with a sandy beach and just above the beach there is a sandy terrace equipped with beach umbrellas, sun-beds and beach towels which are all available free of charge.

Outdoor facilities include a swimming pool, pool bar, play-park for children, a synthetic grass tennis court with instructor (extra cost) and canoes on the beach.

Tennis instructor (extra cost) and child care (4-11 years old) are available from 05/06 to 12/09.

Unattended parking is also available.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE OUTLETS:

The Falconara Charming House & Resort offers a buffet style breakfast as well as dinner service in the restaurant. For lunch a variety of snacks and light lunches are served at the terrace and pool bar.

For dinner guests booked on half board enjoy a Gourmet Menu which consists of four courses each with two or three different ‘taster’ dishes and a seasonal fruits and vegetables buffet.
