A sense of history and elegance pervades this former 19th century home of an aristocratic family.

Enter the reception and you feel as if you have walked onto the pages of an interiors magazine.

The villa is today a small luxury hotel below Taormina's centre but still high above the sea.

Black lava and white limestone floors, painted furniture and contemporary textiles decorate the 23 exuberant but not over-fancy rooms.

The Hotel Villa Carlotta offers a number of additional amenities including a lovely mediterranean garden with a swimming pool surronded by palm trees, lemon and olive groves and bougainvilleas.

A small spa, with Jacuzzi for up to six people is situated in an area of the hotel where the remains of Byzantine catacombs can still be seen.

Villa Carlotta offers breathtaking views with a central location, just a 5 minute walk away from the Taormina's main pedestrian shopping street of Corso Umberto.

Deluxe Room
Elegant and traditional, full of charm and character, the de-luxe have large openings on french balconies with beautiful sea view.
Have a double bed or two single bedsand an armchair. All rooms are non-smoking.

Suites
Divided into two categories: Junior and Deluxe, form a perfect combination of the best Italian design and Sicilian style.
The spacious terraces of the Deluxe Suites overlook the sea and the garden while the balconies of elegant Junior Suites have an incredible view of the Ionian sea.
The Tower Suite is on two floors, with fine furnishings and pastel color in the living room and a romantic bedroom upstairs with large panoramic moorish windows.

The suites are equipped to accommodate a third or fourth person or families with children.
