Karma Kandara occupies a spectacular cliff-top, high above the Indian Ocean at the very tip of Bali's elevated southern peninsula. The resort is blessed with an extraordinary, unobstructed view of the Indian Ocean. Embracing wide open spaces and clear blue skies, the turquoise waters are the playground of migrating whales. When the southeast trade winds blow and the ocean swells hit the reefs, the barrelling surf breaks are amongst the best in the world. Bridges, stone walkways and little paths meander through vivid tropical gardens, connecting the expansive pool residences, all of which enjoy ocean views. Both the destination restaurant with its rooftop bar and the spa are suspended on rocky outcrops, whilst a private inclinator takes guests down to Nammos Private Beach Club, set at the base of the cliff. Guests also benefit from a host of novel activities and special events, including privileged access to sister resort Karma Jimbaran, located twenty minutes away in front of the white sands and blue waters of Jimbaran Bay.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

Each of Karma Kandara's One-, Two-, Three- and Four-Bedroom Residences features views over the ocean. All are contemporary variations on the Balinese compound style, comprising two or three pavilions with roofs of alang-alang grass or sirap wood tiles, framing a central lap pool and courtyard. Living roomsare airy and expansive with high pitched ceilings and creamy marble floors. Décor has a Mediterranean influence, with richly upholstered furnishings, accented with local artworks and antique artifacts. All bedrooms face the sea and boast en-suite semi-outdoor bathrooms with large stand-alone tubs. Every residence features exclusive amenities including the latest audiovisual systems and SMEG appliances in the spacious kitchens. The Grand Residence is at the very brink of the cliff-top with an horizon pool which seems to spill into the sea.

GUEST FACILITIES INCLUDE:

The Chakra Spa is perched dramatically on a shoulder of rock overlooking the ocean. Guests can choose from a select menu of treatments, delivered by experienced therapists drawing on Indian Ayurvedic and Balinese healing traditions.
Each month, exciting new activities are added to Karma's roster including cultural encounters, adventure sports and parties featuring top flight international DJs and indulge in sunset cocktails and light Mediterranean meals.
