The Road to Mandalay sails along the legendary Irrawaddy river, between the world-heritage site of Bagan and the fascinating city of Mandalay, on a programme of 7, 4, and 3 night cruises. See sacred cities, mist-shrouded temples, white-and-gold pagodas and ancient fishing villages where time has seemingly stood still. Voyages may be taken as part of all-inclusive tours to other parts of Myanmar, which can take in the capital, Yangon, Mount Popa and Lake Inlé. The Road to Mandalay cruise ship also makes special journeys every August through dramatic gorges to Bhamo, near the Chinese border. The ship has 4 air-conditioned decks accommodating 82 passengers. All 43 spacious cabins are decorated using Burmese style fabrics. Facilities include a restaurant, piano bar, boutique, beauty salon, small Library and a spacious lounge, where entertainment and cultural lectures are offered during the cruise.
