The 136- room Tanjung Rhu Resort is located at the northernmost tip of Langkawi Island. The resort is spread over 1,100 acres of sprawling rainforest, rolling limestone, untouched mangroves, with luxuriously furnished rooms and suites boast spectacular views of the Andaman Sea, the surrounding forest or the Resort’s famed and landscaping. While most hotels in Langkawi advertise their respective beachfronts, the resort's private 2.5 KM beach is unmatched anywhere in Langkawi.

Guests have a choice from five types of rooms in the 136-room Tanjung Rhu Resort. Each room is spacious, with timber floors and large windows that take advantage of the tropical breeze with a choice of enchanting garden, pool or sea views. Employing the best of Asian-Eastern influence, the decor is complemented with upholstery and drapes made of soft Thai silk and pure Indian cotton fabrics.

All rooms are equipped with LCD TVs, DVD and compact disc players, private bars with a coffee machine and oversized bath with separate shower. Bayu and Anjung rooms are equipped with a dataport.

  • Sands - Sands is an alfresco casual all-day dining restaurant offering local and western fare. This beachfront restaurant with ponds and ceiling fans, serves a variety of Malaysian and Western cuisine. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
  • Saffron - This popular Eastern flavouring lives up to its name at this restaurant. This Mediterranean Restaurant is a popular spot any time of the day. Saffron also has an alfresco section with an unencumbered view of Tanjung Rhu's stunning sunsets.
  • BBQ Dinner on the Beach - It is our colleague, your private waiter, who begins his task of serving our highly recommended combination of sumptuous, delicious, mouthwatering and exotic selection of a Private Barbeque Dinner on a stretch of 2.5 km of white sandy beach meant for just the two of you.
  • In-room Dining - Dine in privacy and in your own comfort where the setting is no different from dining in a restaurant.
