This exclusive resort occupies the private island of Pangkor Laut, surrounded by verdant rainforest, secluded bays and pristine beaches, located some three miles off the west coast of peninsula Malaysia in the famous straits of Malacca. Of the island's 300 acres, only a fraction has been developed to house the resort and its eight estates. Nature is respected here with wooden buildings blending seamlessly into the forest, walls curving around foliage and roofs opening up to allow trees to grow freely.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

Pangkor Laut's superbly appointed accommodation consists of thatched villas and suites. All Villas are air-conditioned and come with in-room safe, fridge, CD/tape player, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathroom.

  • Hill Villas are sited amidst the rainforest providing sea views.
  • Garden Villas are located at the foot of the hillside amongst Pangkor Laut's tropical gardens.
  • Beach Villas are situated within a few steps of the beach.
  • Both Sea Villas and Spa Villas are set on stilts over the water with views of the sea and surrounding islands.
  • All Spa Villas allow guests access to Pangkor Laut's Spa Village.

All suites offer spacious bedroom, lounge and balconies.

  • The Pavarotti Suite, an elegant two-bedroom suite, also provides a TV room, kitchen, and larger balcony with breathtaking views. Nearby in a small cove, accessible only by private vehicle, eight secluded estates have been created - four resting on the beautiful waterfront of Marina Bay, allowing visitors the pleasure of a private beach; whilst the others are designed to blend seamlessly into the jungle on the hillside - overlooking the ocean and offering absolute and total privacy.
