The ever-popular Angsana Ihuru is the proud bearer of many accolades, including the most photographed island in the Maldives, the second best beach in the world, the best house reef in the Maldives and Presidential environmental awards for conservation issues. Not bad for a small palm covered coral atoll that you could circle by foot in less than 10 minutes. The island is an idyllic palm-fringed paradise complete with rustic, thatched roof villas, set in private gardens with individual access to the white-sand beach.

Please Note - The Maldivian Government announced that the current GST will be revised to 6% as of 01 January 2012. This would be revised to 10% as of 01 January 2013 and will be applied accordingly to all new bookings involving stays from 01 January 2012 onwards. The new GST will apply to all room rates, food and beverage, spa, transfer, diving, water sports, excursions and any other services provided by a resort or ocean-going vessel operating within Maldivian Waters. GST will be not be charged on service charge or bed tax.
