Angsana Velavaru is a calm and tranquil resort located in the largely untouched and uninhabited Dhaalu Atoll group, 35 minutes by seaplane south-west of Malé. The pace of life here is slow with minimal intrusions to the peaceful, relaxing ambience. The resort is a haven for marine enthusiasts, however, with ample opportunity to explore the thirty or so documented sites within the region. Velavaru is unique in being able to offer the first in-ocean villas in the Maldives, located a kilometre offshore from the main island on the edge of the reef.

 

Please Note - The Maldivian Government announced that the current GST will be revised to 6% as of 01 January 2012. This would be revised to 10% as of 01 January 2013 and will be applied accordingly to all new bookings involving stays from 01 January 2012 onwards. The new GST will  apply to all room rates, food and beverage, spa, transfer, diving, water sports, excursions and any other services provided by a resort or ocean-going vessel operating within Maldivian Waters. GST will be not be charged on service charge or bed tax.

  • In-Ocean Villa - available from 01 July. 34 luxurious water villas located a kilometre offshore from the main island on the edge of the reef. Each 2-storey villa features an outdoor deck, their own infinity pool and direct access to the ocean. Available in Premier and Sanctuary configurations.
