Baros has always enjoyed a devoted and loyal following. After a period of extended closure and extensive re-development, the resorts popularity is no less diminished. Its profile has been lifted, placing it firmly amongst the elite, but the character, intimacy and friendliness that ensured its popularity remain. The small island is set in a shallow lagoon surrounded by a vibrant reef. Its elegant villas are positioned over the lagoon and amongst the beachside palms.

 

Please Note - The Maldivian Government announced that the current GST will be revised to 6% as of 01 January 2012. This would be revised to 10% as of 01 January 2013 and will be applied accordingly to all new bookings involving stays from 01 January 2012 onwards. The new GST will  apply to all room rates, food and beverage, spa, transfer, diving, water sports, excursions and any other services provided by a resort or ocean-going vessel operating within Maldivian Waters. GST will be not be charged on service charge or bed tax.

Villas come in three categories, all of which come with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, private in-villa bar, satellite TV and CD player.

  • Deluxe Villas - set in glades by the beach and feature tiled veranda, teak floors and walled garden with waterfall shower.
  • Baros Villas - also located beachside with private terrace, sun deck and four-poster bed.
  • Water Villas - grouped in a crescent over the lagoon and feature private sun deck with steps down to the lagoon, four-poster bed and bathtub overlooking the sea.
