Shanti Ananda is the first 'destination spa' resort of its type in Mauritius, located within 36 acres of tropical gardens, circled by wooded hills, in the islands south-east. The focus is on 'wellness' with yoga, meditation, Vedanta, holistic, Ayurvedic and Thalassotherapy treatments instructed by visiting masters to the 50,000 square foot spa's 17 separate treatment rooms. Morning walks, Pranayama, aerobics and fitness sessions all complement the treatments offered.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

All suites and villas are extremely spacious and come with elegant and luxurious appointments throughout including king-size beds, plasma TV's, video-on-demand and large balconies.

  • Junior Ocean View Suites are housed in independent villa structures in groups of four, two on the ground floor and two on the first floor. Spacious bathrooms feature an outdoor shower in an enclosed courtyard.
  • Luxury Villas with Pool are a massive 208 square metres incorporating a 54 square metre pool, private gardens and salas.
  • Luxury Suite Villas with Pool also feature a large living room.
  • The Presidential Villa occupies 800 square metres, comprising 3 bedrooms, open courtyards, private gardens and pool with jacuzzi and steam room.
