La Digue is the smallest of the main Seychelles islands. It is popular as a day trip destination from Mahé and Praslin. The islands quiet atmosphere make it ideal for a more relaxed, stay-put holiday. The main form of transport on La Digue is the bicycle or the traditional oxcart, both perfect for exploring the wonderful beache, particularly those on the islands south-east coast such as the iconic Anse Source d'Argent, strewn with naturally weathered granite boulders. This ever-popular beach has become a symbol for the entire Seychelles archipelago.
