Praslin is the second largest of the Seychelles archipelago islands with a mountainous, lush interior similar to that of Mahé. Quieter and less developed, Praslin is famous for its unique, indigenous coconut, the Coco de Mer, found in the islands Vallée de Mai National Park. Praslin is becoming increasingly popular as a twin- and triple-centre as well as a stay-put option. Praslin's pristine island beaches, including Anse Lazio, Anse Volbert and Grande Anse, are amongst the finest in Seychelles, boasting soft, white sand amongst idyllic settings.
