The traditional courtyard summer houses of 'Old Arabia' have inspired these beautifully designed stand-alone, two-storey residential retreats. They represent the premium accommodation available within the Madinat Jumeirah complex, ideal for guests seeking a more intimate hideaway. Dar al-Masyaf, lives up to its translation - 'summer house'  - with guests enjoying the ultimate in relaxation and escape. The houses each feature 8 to 11 rooms and suites and are extended across the resort grounds, surrounded by landscaped gardens. Some are located on the beachfront.

ROOMS AND FACILITIES:

There are two house types available, Gulf and Arabian, each offering luxurious guest rooms and suites:

  • The Gulf Villas - offering access to the beach and all houses benefit from privileged locations within the resort. A shared traditional Arabic courtyard is at the centre of each group, while each suite comes complete with white linens, light walls, fine Arabian detailing and astounding views within the resort. All rooms feature high ceilings, dark-wood furniture, large 'majlis' style lounges, free-standing tubs and walk-in rain showers. The integrated layout and design provides guests with the opportunity to take everything from just one suite to the entire villa.
  • Malakiya Villas - representing supreme luxury, these self-contained sanctuaries feature an abundance  of luxurious private facilities with individual courtyards, terraces and pools. Large, spacious and richly decorated with bespoke furnishings, the reception areas lead to bedrooms and bathrooms of imposing individuality. The rooms are extensive and beautifully proportioned befitting the stature of such grand dwellings.
