The itinerary commences in Cairo on a Friday in order to coordinate with the Nile cruise departure on the Monday and includes visits to the Pyramids at Giza and the Egyptian Museum in Cairo. From Cairo you will travel by air to Luxor where you will board your Nile cruise ship. With the cruise vessel as your base you will visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak as well as the Valleys of the Kings and Queens on the left bank of the Nile. The cruise itinerary includes visits to notable sites enroute to the southern city of Aswan including the Edfu and Kom Ombo temple complexes. On arrival in Aswan you will also visit a number of notable sites including the High Dam and Philae Temple. Following disembarkation you will fly back to Cairo for your onward journey.

ITINERARY:

Day 1 - Friday: Cairo

Arrival at Cairo international Airport, transfer to your hotel, check-in.

Day 2 - Saturday: Cairo

Breakfast at hotel. Visit Memphis, Sakkara and Giza Pyramids and Sphinx. Return to hotel by afternoon. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 3 - Sunday: Cairo

Breakfast at hotel. Visit The Egyptian Museum and Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Return to hotel and free afternoon. Overnight at your hotel.

Day 4 - Monday: Cairo - Luxor

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport and flight to Luxor. Arrival Luxor and transfer to your Nile cruise ship and embarkation. After Lunch Visit the Karnak and Luxor Temples. Dinner and overnight onboard at Luxor.

Day 5 - Tuesday: Luxor

Visit the West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon). Sailing to Esna and overnight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner aboard.

Day 6 - Wednesday: Edfu - Komo Ombo - Aswan

Sailing to Edfu. Visit Horus Temple of Edfu. Sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the temple shared by two Gods Sobek and Haroeris. Sailing to Aswan and overnight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner aboard.

Day 7 - Thursday: Aswan

Aswan visits: High Dam, the unfinished obelisk and Philae temple. Sailing by Felucca. Overnight at Aswan. Breakfast, lunch and dinner aboard.

Day 8 - Friday: Aswan/Cairo/Departure

Disembarkation after breakfast. Transfer to Aswan airport and flight to Cairo. Arrival in Cairo and Transfer to Cairo International Airport for final departure or onward travel arrangements.
