The Red Sea is one of the world's most popular diving areas. Its shores along with the coastal areas of southern and eastern Sinai, are home to some of Egypt's finest hotels and resorts. Diving is popular everywhere in the Red Sea region but the favourite with those in the know are the waters of the Ras Al-Mohammed National Park, close to Sharm El-Sheikh.
